Teach a Man to Fish

Tonight after hours at the Associated Humane Society of Tinton Falls, I volunteered my time to teach Bruce and Grace Sanchez how to best use their cameras and computer programs to fight their daily battles against animal abuse and surrenders. Every animal that comes into their facility must be documented and for them to have a better chance at adoption in today's world means having a great head shot for petfinder.com! Bruce and Grace were thrilled with the camera and post-production lessons I gave them. Grace is often answering phones that never stop ringing and simultaneously leaning out her office door to photograph the animals as they come through. She now confidently has the knowledge to get great shots on the fly and in a few weeks I will be teaching Bruce how best to set up his camera for the important work of documenting abuse in the field.

PS: The great guys at The Photo Center in Brick, NJ, just donated lens cleaner and cloths for them to clean up all the tongue licks on their lenses!

Kirsten & Craig

Kirsten & Craig were married on her aunt's farm, Terhune Orchards, in Princeton, NJ. It was the most beautiful day in June and all the animals were cooperative: goats and dogs included. I think their guests had a great time too!
