Went on Sugar's walk with her today in the perfect cold and watched snow gently falling off the trees (see photo below). Then I got some amazing news that I had been nominated (nominator unknown) to attend the LOOK3 Festival of the Photograph's Lookbetween weekend in VA.
From the email: "LOOKbetween is a forum for the critical engagement of ideas and craft, addressing the issues that photographers grapple with today. Attendees participate in presentations, discussions, collaborative projects, collegial critique and more with many of today’s leading photographers and industry professionals. Attendees are nominated by an international community of photography professionals and selected based on accomplishment, commitment, and vision. With an emphasis on diversity, we’ve invited seventy-five early career photographers from seventeen countries to participate in LOOKbetween 2014."
Surprised and honored and I look forward to attending and getting to VA in early summer.

Blue Sky Pacific NW Viewing Drawers ~ Montana Fine Art & Editorial Photography

Really happy and honored to be selected for the second year in a row to have my work part of Blue Sky Gallery's Pacific NW Viewing Drawers. Currently my Hungry Horse series is represented there and in April Dead Things With Sugar will be a part of them along with the work of other selected regional photographers from Alaska, British Columbia, Washington, Oregon, Idaho, and Montana.
