Elk Season ~ Montana Documentary Photography

Coming to terms with the culture of my new home in Montana. My neighbor Jesse, born and raised here in Bigfork, returned from a 10 day successful bow-hunting excursion into The Bob Marshall Wilderness with his friend Johnny. They packed in with 4 horses and didn't see another human for the 10 days in. Jesse's kids were really excited to have their dad home. Jealous that I couldn't go with them to document The Bob and the hunt, I hung out while they unpacked the truck.
