Soothing Sugar

While Temple Grandin figured out how to soothe cattle with her humane designs, Sugar has figured out how to soothe herself. With her 'brother' that she's had for 5 years (see bottom photo), every morning and night, and when she needs to busy herself, she gently mouths his head. With all the snow we've had it's been hard to get outside for her to run, so today she had some down time with him while the lovely Molly Wright Stuart (who once had a pretend deep relationship with an otter) looked on in surprise. Sugar's brother is still completely intact after 5 years but his eyes are showing a bit of wear and seems to have cataracts that need fixing.
