Sugar's Bday

Here's Sugar refusing to face the day and acknowledge her 5th birthday today. I never imagined how 5 years ago my idea to get a dog would change my life - nevermind my business! But I'm eternally grateful to her for what I've learned about the human/canine bond and all the imagery she has inspired both of her and of other dogs and their humans. The other photo is Sugar's first day with me (and the omnipresent camera).
